The Hike

Alex awoke one afternoon in a small life boat with nothing but canned foods, a can opener, fishing supplies, water, and a survival kit.
She looked all around her. There was nothing but her and the ocean.

"Amanda?" She said in a quiet voice. She looked around and saw nothing. She couldn't remember much but she knew one thing for sure. Amanda was gone and she had no way of getting home.
