On her sixteenth birthday, Lara Flynn, who lives feeling misunderstood in the rigidity of a corrupt society of a desperate mining city that lives in the shadow of its own past, is told by her uncle, Isaac, to run away from home after seeing her mother get murdered by the corrupt government after Lara informed of her arranged marriage. Lara obeys her uncle, and runs away from all that she knows with her few possessions, until she gets caught up in a chase that changes her life forever, and she finally finds what she has always been looking for, after all this time. Lara finds herself in a fantasy world led by the stars, fate and family, unknown to the human race, yet in power over every human soul in the world of Greater Denvernia. Was it her destiny to find herself here? Or was she meant to be here all along?
