"Fancy meeting you here again." Ryan said, pointing to the seat to Katie's right. "This seat taken?"

"Nope." Katie answered. "Sit away. I'm gonna need someone to help me get through this meeting. And all meetings."

"We could be meeting friends." Ryan said, letting out an awkward chuckle.

"What?" Katie asked, a smile on her face.

Ryan shook his head. "Just, never mind. It was the dumbest thing to ever come out of my mouth."
