[Preview] Trinity Pierce had never had an easy life. Her father abused her every chance he got, she took more trips to the emergency room than all of the contestants in the x-games had in their entire lives. She was mocked at school for her dark clothes and love of metal music. She had no friends, she didn't fit in, and everyone ostracized and abused her. So, she ran away from home. Her father didn't notice for an entire week that she wasn't there. Her teachers filed the missing person's report. One teacher in particular badgered Detective Sanchez daily about the girl, wondering if he had seen any sign of her. At first he wasn't so sure why Miss Sanders would think the young Trinity would be in his city. Why did she runaway, here? Miss Sanders, who had been a close friend of Trinity's mother, said that when she and Trinity's mother were in college they had a studio apartment downtown, and it was the best years of their life. She knew Trinity's mother passed on those stories, she knew Trinity always wanted to visit, but her mom fell ill, she had breast cancer, and she slowly withered away, leaving her daughter broken and her husband drunk and abusive.
