What happens when a wealthy family tries to force their only daughter to marry to help the business?? Elizabeth Harper is the daughter of a wealthy farmer on a small colony called new earth located on one of the many Red Dwarf Star System. She her self owns her own ship and runs her own successful delivery business. But her parents want her to wed the wealthy son of their partnered delivery company to solidify the partnership between the two families. Elizabeth has nothing against the Kotep race, or the family her family partners for shipping. Her issue with the situation is that values her freedom to much, she is not a prize the Kotep named Morin can hold on his arm and that is exactly what he wants. But when Elizabeth runs into trouble delivering a parcel to a shady part of the system for an even shadier Terkan alien named Jorg Mandal. Jorg wants her to become one of his many bed maidens, when she refuses he decides to use his vast connections to cause Elizabeth enough of a headache that she cannot escape him as he is a powerful man who always gets what he wants.
