Description
Reggie and Lilac used to be best friends. But after an unspeakable incident the summer before high school, they haven't spoken since. Unless you count all the snide comments and bitter words they fire at each other. And then Lilac comes home one day to the news that her grandma is getting worse and her family crying over how much a live-in nurse costs. So without a second thought, Lilac says she'll do it. She'll look after her grandma; give up her summer plans of tanning and gossip with her best friends. But of course it can't be that easy. Lilac's mom announces that Reggie Reyes will be staying with her for the summer. Just the two of them up at the family cabin. Because Lake Rossen just so happens to be exactly where Reggie needs to be this summer too. Set against a hot summer and trying to answer the question "what makes someone happy?" Will these two ex-friends be able to be once again?
