Antoine Levesque and Jack Ashton have been in a committed relationship for years despite having clashing careers. Antoine is only at home for half the year due to his place in the national hockey league and Jack is a musician with a random schedule. They've never had time to take the next next step in their relationship.

They meet Hayden Murray, a dancer who throws a spanner in the works of their relationship.
