Claire Everton has a good life, an amazing family, a nice apartment and some great friends she has known for years. And on top of that she published a book under the name P. Kristi because she doesn't want the attention. But what happens when her old nemesis from school Adam J. Holden finds out and blackmails her?

One day Adam comes to her office and blackmails her into marrying him, if she refuses he is going to tell the whole world that she is P. Kristi, the author of a new fantasy novel. He says he needs a wife because of his work and has set his eyes on her.
