"A-Are you an alien?" One of the boys questioned tentatively. "Not that I know of." I cracked a small tentative smile. The boy who hadn't said anything, returned my smile with one of his own, then proceeded to turn to the others. "I don't know about you guys, but I sure as hell don't want her for an enemy." He laughed, approaching me with something that resembled excitement. "What do you say? Allies?" He stuck out his hand to me. I reached out my hand hesitantly. "Allies," I murmured while cautiously shaking his hand. -- Sunny Callaghan isn't like anyone else. Then again, being a test tube baby does that to you. When her 'parents' smuggled her out of the laboratory at the age of seven, they never planned for an alien invasion in their ten-year-plan. As Sunny races across the country to find her mom, she meets friends, foes, and just straight up bad people. Follow along on her journey to save Earth and the people she loves. Heads up: I've never tried writing a story like this, so here goes nothing.
