Prologue

Aydan Sims have to leave school frequently for "random heart checks." In reality, her aunt Flynn is taking her to fight giant spiders and other assorted monsters. Aydan has been fine with it so far, but when her little sister Bria has to finally become a "hunter," Aydan blows. Why are hunters even needed? What would happen if she told someone? What would happen if she just stopped hunting?
