"Can you feel it?" He asked. His green eyes are burning into my soul. He's so hard to read! Of course I feel it. The building around us is shaking. It wasn't very sturdy to begin with but, we're on the top floor and the battle rages on outside. "Story, I'm scared.." Ashlin said as she held onto me tighter. She's only 9. Riordan hugged us tighter. He's 21. "It's okay guys, I feel it but we'll be fine. I promise." I knew it was a long shot, but I wasn't going to let them see how scared I really was. I'm Story Mae Daniels and I'm 19 years old. This is Our Story. The Traps and the Kanes have been battling in our Country since before any of us were even born. The Traps have raped and pillaged in Kane territories and made women and children into slaves while they kill off their men. The Kanes in turn have bombed the Traps and murdered off thousands of people as revenge. Thus creating an endless battle that rages on outside. We're neutral. We don't really care either way, we just want to survive.
