Bas and his little sister Nora are enjoying their first day of summer vacation along the beach. The sun is out, the water is calm and crystal clear. But what could be more exciting than finding a message in a bottle? Surely it must've come from some island castaway a hundred years ago or something. The paper is hardly yellowed, however, when Bas carefully pulls it out, and it looks modern just like everything else. So how come it's in some ancient looking wine bottle that doesn't look like it's from this century? He'll just have to find out.
