Prologue

Elena Scott is a girl in love with the ocean and everything in it. She has moved back to the place she was born after her dad lost his job and got his old one back. Trying to fit in living in Djupvik, she finds herself not fitting in at all and is therefore an outsider. She soon connects with the town's other outsider, Arthur Perry. She gets to know him and learn about who he is, an Atlantean. It grows into something more, but what happens when life-changing decisions have to be made?
