My Senior Year

I was 18 and a senior in high school when my friend invited me to a party on the rich side of town. After a few drinks and a horrific accident, my friend was rushed to the emergency room, where he later died in front of my very own eyes. Now that he's deceased, and I know with certainty that he died, why do I keep seeing him everywhere? Have I lost my mind or is my best friend really alive?
