Alayna Romanoff thought she knew most things about herself. That she had trust issues, a strange connection to the ocean and a best friend to support her though the issue they shared together; The Shadows. But one of her last summer trips to Florida makes her learn things she never thought were possible let alone even existed. With the help of Dustin Conrad, his brother William Conrad and their enemy Hunter Evans they embark on a dark and scary adventure. Between the lost family history Alayna didn't know she had, the shadows that threaten, and this dark and handsome man, Dustin, in her life her emotions are everywhere. She must face it all and survive it all or else it might be the end to the world as we know it.
