My name is Wendi Darlin Vondila. Yes like the girl from Peter Pan and please do try to refrain from making any jokes I'm sure I've heard them all by now. To those looking in my family seems like your average middle-class African American family, but we are not by any means average no we are extraordinary. I come from a long line of exceptional women who can do unimaginable things; my mother told me that we got our gifts as payment to our bloodline from a nameless deity. So most of the girls in my family come into the gifts between the ages 9-12 some have received there's a late as 15 but that only happens when someone has a gift that is beyond even what my family calls powerful.
