Chapter 1: Discovery

Dr. Darwin Goldstein's inability to cope with the spiritual implications of her revolutionary discovery of an inexplicable anomaly in the human brain drives her into self-imposed seclusion.

But the world demands answers, and in Darwin's absence a self-proclaimed prophet provides those answers in the form of an explosively-growing science-based religion.

The prophet's message is of peace and fraternal love, but Darwin knows his true goals are nefarious. Will she have the courage and tenacity to unmask this false prophet?
