Smokefire Windscales is the newest (and youngest) dragon to be thrust into the position of Guardian of Shynalia. At 20 years old, he's still not full grown. It's not fair for anyone to expect him to be perfect, right? He could break a few age-old rules, and no one would even really notice, right?

But once Smokefire gets into an explosive fight with his mother, strange things start happening all over Shynalia. It's his destiny to save his home- but is it all his fault?
