When Raine Gilbert moves from the sunny beaches of Australia after her parents' divorce to the cold, dreary, rainy town of Forks, Washington with her mom, she wants to leave immediately. Not only does she miss her friends and boyfriend terribly, but between the rain and the people who always shove their noses where they don't belong, Raine hates Forks at first sight.
