Prologue

Laura Cooke is just your average girl living in Vertrine City, New York. That is, until she meets Sam Bailey, sidekick to the city's famed former-hero, Lightning Man. With Sam's help, Laura realizes her own potential and learns about her newfound powers. Together (with some help, of course), they must defeat Lightning Man's old enemy, Caesar, before it's too late.
