Every summer since she could remeber, Kaleigh Sparks has spent in Nova Scotia with her best friend Nick and his friends Ben, Lucas, and Jake. This was until her life was turned upside down, at the age of 14, when she was in the car with her father, and a freak accident occured. Only she surivied. Going through a terrible time, she distances herself from Nova Scotia, because of all the memories there with her father. After 2 years, now 16 Kaleigh finally returns to Nova Scotia, for the summer. Upon arriving in Nova Scotia, she has her sights set one one boy... Nick who she has been secretly crushing on since they had met. But what happens when she see's her other friend, and how much he has grown. Who will come to Kaleigh's side when she is falling, and who will bring her back up. This summer has a rollercoaster of emtions, from crying, and sadness, heartback, joy, found love, lost love, twists, and surprises.
