Chapter 1 - Just the two of us

Now that Cheryl has thrown her mother and uncle out of Festlehouse, overcome her Southside prejudices and even become a serpent herself, there's nothing between her and Toni anymore. Or so they thought.

Just when they are closer than ever, Toni gets kidnapped by none other than the Black Hood. Wait, kidnapped? Not murdered? That's right. Why? The Black Hood just wants to play a little game with the next victim: Cheryl. And as if this wasn't enough already, her worst enemy, Nick St. Clair, is involved as well.

What will Cheryl do when the one person who is important to her is in danger? Will she play the Black Hood's game? Will she rescue Toni? And what about Toni? Will she be okay?
