"Hey Sweetheart," I sling my arm around the girl's waist, pulling her close, and flash her a smile, "do you know what her name is?" I ask, gesturing toward the girl with her attention in a battered book. "Sage. She's Taylor's sister, why?" She replies, giving me a dirty look for asking about another girl. "Just curious. Thanks." I ignore her question, letting her go, and completely leaving her behind as I reach my next class, my mind already making up a plan to make Sage mine. ************* Sage Reynolds is anything but special. She's short but average in size. No sense of style. A complete introvert. Her life mainly concerns reading, passing her classes, singing and her on-again-off-again boyfriend. But none of that stop her from catching the attention of someone who just might turn her world upside down. Colton Johnson is your textbook sociopath. But not to the extreme people like to take it to. He likes mind games. he likes to manipulate people and be in control. He has his fair share of girls to pick from and his plenty of people to piss off. He has no problem cutting people down to get to where he wants to be, until he sees her. Sage sparks something he hasn't felt before. An emotion other than anger or boredom. He searches her out, fascinated with the way she affects him without having to do a single thing but look him in the eyes. As a result, she quickly finds herself falling head over heels for a boy she only just met. Could it be possible that he feels the same? Or is he just using her to pacify his own boredom?
