Chapter One- Badass has a tiny soft spot

Rachel and Eric have always hated each other. The reason why faded with time, but the feeling never left. So when the day comes that they discover they are mates, the results are less than perfect. Eric denies that he could ever be mates with 'someone like that'. And Rachel doesn't handle that well.
Eventually Eric realizes his mistake and tries to win her over, but that's not possible anymore. Something is broken in Rachel, something that no one can fix. Her trust.
