Chapter 1

Camila Cabello was an American Soldier, she worked hard to keep her troops safe. One fateful day the young Soldier loses her best friend Chris Jauregui the young soldier asked her one thing, find his sister Lauren and take good care of her. However, there was one problem for the young soldier, when she goes back home she is confronted with the pain of losing Chris, but has to hide it from her three year old daughter Valerie. What happens when Camila sets out on the journey to a small town in Texas, a small dog rescue, a small yet broken family? What happens when she comes to save Lauren from the heartbreak?
