Talia Walerf doesn't like to talk, much comment ever so slightly about anything specially if it talks about the society she's currently in. Yula is a small country, divided into different regions, and those regions were very different from each other. On the surface, Yula is a successful country, having poverty rates lower that any other places. On the core, Yula's people struggled to survive. To survive racism, to build pride, bring down government, help the government to help them back, to favor themselves and to find ways to become rich.
