introduction of the OC Characters

Why are my parents getting me babysitters to watch me?
Because if I recall correctly I'm 15 right now, but when I was 13 they left for 5 months for
A business trip to California. Yeah I'm really questioning their parenting skills right now.....
But back to the subject at hand why the hell did they give me 11 babysitters?!
And is it just me or do they seem strange to you to?
