Prologue

When Ashleigh Nix sets out to explore the Glacies, a town attacked by a mystical force only weeks before, she discovers an unknown magical group of witches who seem to be draining the magic and power from towns in Ashleigh's kingdom. They call themselves the Shadows.
Ashleigh joins forces with Alii, a girl from Aisteach (a school for witches) who had been attacked by the Shadows. Together they hunt down the unknown forces that are attacking their world, and uncover secrets buried deep in the kingdom.
