We were on a run,
A run from life, love, and empty threats.
At least that's what I thought before she came running all the way from the other side of the world to meet me

"They killed him too"
"Are you serious" I said with tears in my eyes
"Yes" she replied before a round of new found sobs filling the air
"Why didn't you tell me before, I could've been more careful, hope you're not hurt... I said, but couldn't continue as I blacked out.
