Description
Alice "Ace" Donovan is 20 years old. After the death of her adoptive parents Alice finds herself in a rut. On the advice of her birth mom Amber, she heads to LA to work at Booked Out, the place where it all began to try and find some kind of inspiration. What Ace finds though is Evan Jackson Booked Out's new CEO, completely out of his depth, who within minutes of meeting her brutally insults her. After a rough teething in period things go from bad to much worse when Ace discovers just how reckless Evan has been. The patchwork has frayed, and a legacy is at risk of ending. For the love of her family and all the stories she's been told she agrees to help Evan out of the mess he created which causes the two to face demons they'd both been hiding and grow closer along the way. With everything up in the air, Ace might just find, that sometimes to go forward you have to go back.
