Chapter 1

(Okay, this book has nothing to do with A Quest of the Heart. It's a completely different story line.)

After their most recent quest for the ink piece, the team gained the piece but lost Boris. In his devastation, Bendy attempts, first, to destroy the map. Then, after the others stop him from tearing up the map, he spirals into a self-destructive frenzy. He stays out later and later each night, drinking more and more. When he comes home, he talks of suicide. Can the others save the young boy from himself, or will his new behavior bring them more sorrow and loss?
