Kaori Akiyama was just at the mere age of seven when she was orphaned. The troubled and distraught girl is brought to the Hidden Leaf Village where she is promised a bright future. It is there where she meets the equally troubled, mysterious, and orphaned, Kakashi Hatake. The sudden loss of his own father puts Kakashi in a position where he is unable to feel love or to be loved. His shattered spirit blinds him of love. Kaori is broken and damaged and also shields herself from everything around her. The loneliness that the two tortured heroes feel brings them together as they rely on one another.
