Dark Indulgence

She was calling me, the moon, that is waking me from my restless sleep. My eye’s shooting open to see the darkness lurking within the corners of the walls. Every crease or crack in the brick filled with it, forced there by the moon shining high in the sky. It was calling me out to run to play, her light streaming through the window - had she really awakened me?
