Prologue

Franklin Joseph is an American, wizard born from a Squib and a Muggle sent to live with distant cousins for his own protection, unbeknownst to him. His cousins, Robbie, Lament and Feria, know very little about the situation themselves but promised his parents that they will do everything in their power to keep him safe. Franklin has since been 'rolling with the punches' but finds himself both pissed and annoyed at those around him. But when he is inducted into Slytherin House, his life takes a turn for the even worse. None of his housemates speak to him in the open in fear of being ostracized by their peers, he's mostly bullied by them and ignored by the other kids his age in other houses and his parents have yet to keep their promise of visiting him. Looking past the turmoil in his personal life, Franklin vows to make his experience at Hogwarts one that will benefit him and make the others wish they never crossed him.
