Maya Penelope Hart was a broken 17 year old girl. Her father abandoned her when she was 5 years old, and her mother was a flight attendant, so she wasn't that much around Maya because she needed the money to pay the bills to her house and take care of Maya when she could. Maya felt abandoned by both of her parents and never felt so alone.
