In an illegal underground fight club, Sam's one of the best kickboxers, even though he hates what he does. Unfortunately, he has to win the biggest championship ever to escape the clutches of The Killing Machine tournament. However, when he fractures his left hand in his most recent fight, his whole life seems to have been ruined.

Enter Mercedes: a doctor that promises to keep the club a secret on one condition. He has to pretend she's his fake girlfriend so she can escape her family's demands to find herself a boyfriend.
