Description
The day that Elizabeth turns 20, she is pressured into a loveless marriage by her strict, business-oriented, father. The union of the two families and companies could mean a fat profit for Elizabeth's dad, and she feels like she has no other choice. Eli, her new husband, seems to be very distant and unhappy. He never acted too eager to marry her either, so to him, Elizabeth is nothing more than the beautiful wife on his arm that smiles for pictures to make him look good. Naturally, when she meets Victor, a very handsome man who just so happens to work for Eli's rival company, she quickly begins to fall for his charm and kind heart. Elizabeth finds herself caught between two choices- making her family happy or following what will make her happiest. Either decision that she makes will not be easy, and with whatever she chooses, she knows that she will lose someone that she loves.
