When Eleanor is stolen from her home by an old woman named Lilleth, she finds herself on a journey through a realm called Abbadon. At first, the world seems perfect. There are flowers, forests and beauty surrounding her!
But, the longer she wanders through Abbadon, the more uneasy Eleanor becomes.
When she meets Lord Eun, ruler of the world, and is brought back to his temple, Eleanor is told that she must trade a single gold coin to stay. It certainly seems like a fair trade.
Except when she meets a cinder child named Abigail, and learns about the deep, dark secrets stored within the temple walls.
Is eternal life worth a coin?
Is magic the way to turn?
Eleanor isn't sure, but it's a question that she will soon have to answer.
