When Laurent escapes his uncle's business of exploiting the fact he's a chimera - a human and animal hybrid - he literally bumps into Damen, the son of an old family friend whom he hadn't seen in years.

Damen had just found out his fiancé had been cheating on him, and uses the opportunity to help Laurent as a way to distract himself from the heartbreak. But he didn't count on the fact that his old crush on Laurent from when they were young teens would come creeping back.
