Alex and her friends are about as popular as used chewing gum, so why is someone following them, watching from the shadows and sending threatening notes? Answer's are hard to come by, but questions start lining up when Alex develops electricity powers. Her friends have little time to be surprised, for they too start developing powers. Now they must learn to control what they don't understand, and search for the truth before their secret gets out.
But truth can look different from someone else's view, and a story never has only one side to it.
