Ever since Kat learned that she would receive a dragon at age 8, she had been waiting for the day that she would be accepted into the Dragon Academy. But once Kat arrives at the Academy, not everything goes as planned. Some merchants show up claiming that her dragon was stolen and belonged to them, and demand a large sum of money if she wants to keep her dragon. Kat is faced with a tough question: Do I give up my dragon... or run away?
