Prologue

The Oberois decide to get Shivaay engaged to Pooja. Shivaay is sent to receive Pooja at the airport; however, he deliberately goes to the wrong terminal to avoid meeting her. A young woman named Anika, who has just run away from her own wedding, overhears Shivaay telling his uncle about ditching Pooja. Since nobody from Shivaay's family has ever seen Pooja, Anika pretends to be Shivaay's intended fiancée. Anika, posing as Pooja, goes to stay with the Oberois and wins the hearts of the entire family, except Shivaay, who gets irritated with her
