Tryna forget every place you touched in my life
Got me doing the unusual asking these strangers for a light
I feel it in my lungs, got me coughing all night
You left me in the dark, took away my heart's sight
Now instead of getting a buzz off your smile, I get it from these cigarettes
Trying to find another escape to whom or what to be committed with
Every puff takes away the pain, creating a sense of dissonance
Fading away into the wind and getting lost like a syllabus
