Prologue

Monique recently moved to a small town surrounded by woods with her brother for his work, after her last school Moni just wants to fit in and have a normal life, well as normal a life a girl can have when she doesn't speak and lives alone with her brother in the woods. Did I mention the school is for gifted students? (In no Supernatural way)
Lucas constantly worries about his cute little sister, she has had to got through way too much for an average teenager so when he gets offered a job that takes Moni away from her old life and closer to the only other person she trusts besides Mark, he grasps at it in the hopes that Monique will finally speak again.
