Prologue

She was cautious.

He was reckless.

She would do anything for the good of her people.

He would do anything for his sister.

She was trying to be the good guy.

He knew that good guys didn't exist.

She was Clarke and he was Bellamy.

Their paths crossed on the day that changed everything. They started off on the wrong foot, but quickly realized they needed each other. And everyone needed them as well. Without them, life on Earth wouldn't nearly have lasted as long as it did. But that's another story.
