" Wait! Please! Tell me what's going to happen!" I begged, pulling at the hem of his sleeves.

He brushed my hands off and looked at me coldly," There isn't much time left. Leave. Now."

" Please...." My eyes began to water.

" Stay away! I don't want to hurt you."

Hurt me? What was he talking about?

" What do you mean?" I was getting more confused as the time went on.

" You heard me." He said coldly. " We came from different houses and now, you're my opponent."

"What?" I asked in disbelief, shocked by the news. " W-Wait! Y-You mean the l-list is out?"

" Yes. I've got to win this." He said, " Even though I have to sacrifice something important."

" I-I can't do this. I am g-going to q-quit..." I whispered, sobbing quietly.

His bright green eyes looked right into my blue ones, I quickly looked away, wiping my tears of my eyes. He tooked a step toward me and grabbed my chin, forcing me to look at him.

" No mercy. Too late though. The Hunt is on."
