P r o l o g u e

She knew she was going to die, that it was hopeless. She knew that he had moved on, completely forgotten her. She knew more than anything that he left because he was afraid to commit to something that would slip out of his fingers. He was driven by outspoken delusion; while she was driven by unspoken desires. But they both knew she was fading, ephemeral and evanescent. Only a teardrop to be forgotten in an ocean of lost desires.
