Laila Owens is in her freshman year at Burk College. her best friend is Domanick Arnolds, another freshman. They've known each other only a year and a half--when he saved her life in their senior year of high school.
Nobody sees Laila. Everyone sees Domanick. Both of them seem to have perfect lives, to those who surround them. Maybe it's only your best friends who know who you really are. All your secrets, all your flaws, your strengths--or maybe it isn't your best friend. Maybe it's something more.
