he disappeared. her older brother - he was gone, and out of her reach. the garrison told her he was dead, killed in space. her gut told her differently. so, she set out to find him... in the unknown. but, a few days after her departure, he came home, ranting about about aliens about to invade earth, and repeating the word "voltron". that was years ago. now, she performs in a space circus, going by her stage name "the dancing siren". after finally coming to terms with the fact that her brother may be dead, akira spent her days performing so she could support herself and her daughter.. magnolia. but, one of the circus' performances happens to be on the same planet as the paladins of voltron are currently residing, and while singing the lullaby shiro sang to her as children, a familiar face rises in the crowd. and the water works begin. shiro offers her a place within the castle of lions, within the paladins and allura and coran. she accepts on the condition that they will never return her or magnolia to the circus again. and while she catches up with her brother, akira confides well within the paladin of the red lion.. and something sparks.
