Tranquility

A quiet moment on the Moon, before returning to the front lines...

This is a quick scene written as part of an exercise on Google+. The image, ("Child of the Moon", courtesy of Vlad Konstantinov) depicts a young girl doing homework next to a window... inside of a moonbase.

Tranquility is written from her perspective, and reveals (through her introspection) how the things we see might not be as they seem.
